Ever since I can remember, I’ve had an obsession with baking. When I was 7, I would get up early before school (what kid does that!?) to make corn muffins for my younger brother. I would spend my weekends watching countless hours of Graham Kerr’s cooking show, and wrote down all the recipes I could. To test them out, I would bake for my family. Some were winners, and some failed, but the fact was, I had so much fun creating and experimenting, that I didn’t care. I was just happy making treats for the people I loved.
As I got older, I began to perfect my craft, and would help my mother with the holidays, making cookies, brownies, cakes, and anything else I could add chocolate to. I took my friends birthdays as a chance to put the baking gloves back on and create something they would remember.
Baking has always been something that I’ve been passionate about. The giddiness I get out of seeing someone enjoy a dessert I’ve made is beyond exciting. I’m lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life that love and support me with this venture, and I can’t describe how excited I am to have the chance to share my passion with all of you.
